I was reliving the old days with Family Matters when I realized the actor for Carl WINSLOW's name is REGINALD VelJohnson. It really sounds like you could mix the two and create the name Reginald VelWinslow then change the Vel to Van. They look similar too. They're both really funny characters.

See the resemblance? (sorry about the size discrepancy. used pics from google images)

Makes me wonder if the guys at Telltale were fans of this old sitcom.

the comparison of those photos is funny! I have secretly thought about that since I used to watch Family matters and Van Winslow looks a little similar to Carl. They just don't talk the same.

Winslow is black?
I agree he's darkish, but to me his features don't look right... Sorry, absolutely no racism intended. Can he be of mixed descent, or perhaps spaniard? Or just have a really deep tan?
