Constantly scrolling down?

Hey guys ive got a really weird problem here, but the most annoying one as well!

Basically everytime I load the game and either go into options the mouse cursor moves where I want it, but the highlighted area constantly scrolls down and no matter what you do, it doesnt change a thing!

Also when in the game, my cursor just constantly scrolls down also, its uncontrollable

Everything is just stuck on going down

I even get this when playing the new Saboteur game as well.

I have the latest NVidia drivers and also the latest mouse drivers.

Ive tried rebooting, changing to just 1 core, windowed mode, deleting/removing prefs.prop everything nothing seems to work!

What other Input devices do you have? Does it stop when you remove them?

Do you have a joystick or gamepad connected to your PC? If so, either calibrate it via the "Devices and Printers" control panel applet (right click on the joystick/-pad, "Game controller settings", "Properties", "Settings", "Calibrate" (ugh)) or unplug it (or any other devices that remotely look or behave like a game controller, like a steering wheel).
