Default Considering buying The Runaway Series???

someone reminded me of this game in a post, cause i remember seeing the sequel being sold in the game shop i work at, and was considering buying it, but didnt know if its worth it....i just saw it being sold on amazon for a really cheap price, now im a huge Monkey Island fan and was wondering if the runaway has similar humour as the monkey island series does and if it is worth playing?

Not quite the same humor it is more of how will i explain this...It is not the same humor, a darker sort of humor more guns and viloence. But it is an amazing game, I really recommend it.

I just finished the third game yesterday and i really enjoyed it. It was pure adventure, they didn't try to add any other genre into it. Most of the puzzles were inventory based, just one or two were convo based. no Myst-type puzzles (which i despise!) . The cutscenes and their direction were greatly improved from the first game (which i didn't like at all), and they also managed to change my opinion about cell shading on human characters. They looked great. The plot, on the other hand, I think is the weakest point in the games. I wouldn't call the series a must have, but it's definitely worth looking in to, and you definitely get your money's worth.
