Default monkey island dvd box

just wondering, when i bought tomi, i had several options from where to buy, i ended up going for the one which showed the price in £'s, which was direct2drive.
Is there anyway i can just get the dvd sent(for cost of postage)? i know if i ordered from here i could get that, but there is no mention of that on the other site.

That's because you can only get the DVD from Telltale directly. It's an incentive for buying direct from them, and they really need to emphasize the benefit more as a Telltale Store Exclusive in their marketing material a bit more.

If you want the DVD now, you have to buy the whole season again from Telltale.

Your best bet would be to pick it up from ebay. The only way telltale will send you a copy is if you were to rebuy the season directly from them.

Nobody said it would be ready just after the last episode. It's probably a few months off.

But they didn't say when after the last episode. It takes a while to get the special features together and the DVD mastered - I believe it was at least a few months for the Sam & Max releases.

I think Wallace and gromit was 2 months. (or at least until preorders)

surely they could add some way for people who bought from other sources, i have a legit activation key, they made their money from me, why not allow us to enter it in our telltale account and give us the option to have the dvd sent?
at the time of ordering, converting the $ price into £ made it somewhat more expensive to buy direct from them.

its not a big deal but it would be nice to have

They probably could partner with other channels to recognize those purchases, but the fact is they make considerably less if you buy it from somewhere else, so the disc is their way of incentivizing people to buy it from them and rewarding them for sending all their money Telltale's way.

... I'm so printing that cover off. Unless of course the actual boxart is pretty amazing too.

When you say one swift playthrough, you mean the episodes automatically following each other without having to quit one then start the next? Because I don't think that will be the case with the dvd. It sure isn't with the Sam & Max one. Unless they do things differently this time.
