Question Buying tales of monkey island-download or buy?

I have recently bought tales of monkey island through telltale games for my pc but realise you can download episodes for free. Whats the difference betweeen them? Obviously one you pay for and one you dont but is there a bonus to buying it (from america) Do you get a bonus disc and when it comes through the post will it be like a pc game you can buy in the shops?

I've been a fan of monkey island for years and am a little confused how this one works etc!!

and yes, you (as you bought the game) can order the game on a disc (when it's finally realased), you only have to pay for shipping.

Thanks for the reply.

The website is the same site that this forum is - telltale games.

so surely if its running a proper forum then they wouldnt be illegal. I dont know what 2 make of it,there must be a special reason why they are making people buy the game when they can also get free download.

anyone else know about this situation...am i just being silly wishing i hadn't paid for it now when ive downloaded it for free?

You cannot download it for free. As soon as you try and open a chapter you do not own, it will say input serial number.

As we do for all our products, we will have a DVD available for all customers who want it in 2010 (if you already own the game we send you the disc for just the cost of shipping), but Tales is primarily a downloadable game.

Regardless, enjoy it
