Anyone know how to kill LeChuck in Monkey Island 2? All I need left to make his voodoo dolls is a part of the head. I'm completely lost.

I know this isn't Tales of Monkey Island, but I can't find any accurate info anywhere else.

I assume you're not playing the lite mode.

This seems completely unneeded, but you have to make everything rubbery helium-ized.
After that, what you have to get is a piece of his beard.
I suppose you can't rip'em out of him. You have to immobilize him first.
The spoiler below is a giveaway
Go to the elevator, wait for LeChuck, then push the lever so that it can tear a piece of LeChuck's beard. If the elevator doors don't close, then there is something you need to do first. It most likely has to do something with the room that has the helium tube.

Your assumptions are correct.

I tried this, and the doors don't close fully. I don't understand what you mean by the helium tube. I tried using the balloon and latex gloves on the 900 pound crate in the elevator, but that just makes Guybrush sing disco songs.

Ok here it goes
Go to the Grog venting machine room and put the gloves you got from the medical room trash bin and the balloon from the crate room on the helium tank and it will blow them. When you go in the elevator you are light enough so when LeChuck comes press the level and you will get his beard

Ok, with a bit of patience and endurence, I have finally done it. I think it was mostly about timing. Kind of a wierd ending, but that was a fun game. Thanks for the help.
