You could also add in an alternate ending to Chapter 5. Where if you don't choose to use the ring on the Crossroads but instead take the boat away from them it automatically goes to the Voodoo Lady cutscene with everyone assuming Guybrush is stranded there. Basically mentioning this suggestion due to that topic where some of the forumites were talking about how cool it would have been if Guybrush had been stranded at the end.

Personally, i'd be happy with just the standard "making of" and interviews. Although i wouldn't complain if you let the people who pre-order the DVD itself (having bought the entire series post launch ( i was a wiiware user initially)) to get the Limited edition sleeve thing aswell. *hint hint*

Telltale Texas Hold'Em

Sorry if someone already covered this, but I just got thinking.
And while this is a minor detail, it's one of those nuances that could separate TOMI from Monkey Island canon.

The interlude/cutscene between each chapter is usually filled with that same melody and the chapter title. While I welcome Telltale if they make this game episodic, I just feel TOMI would be incongruous somehow if they don't keep with particular charm of he rest of the series.

A little, but big thing!

Please Telltale Games, follow suit!

Remember this from a while back?

I think it definitely deserves to be added as a bonus feature.

Winslow will cry, lol. But hey, that's a great idea, tbh.

Also, I wasn't bothered by the dialogue from Chapter 1 except the beginning conversation with Nipperkin. I did get a bit annoyed at that.

I'm a tad confused about the whole 'adding maps to the intro credits' thing. What does that mean?

Dominic Armato commentary, and voice actor commentary in general, would be made of awesome and win. I'd love to see that.

These have (probably) already been mentioned, but concept art would be awesome. I know we can view it online already but... it's just so cool. Fancier resolution would be nice. And there's gotta be more, right? ...right?

A soundtrack would also be awesome, but that sounds more like it's own entity than a special feature. I'd still buy it.

Commentary would be excellent. I (think I) remember a while back during the summer TellTale released several video commentaries about the first season Sam and Max episodes. And they were awesome. So ToMI + Commentary = equally awesome.

At the very least, I know there's concept art of poxed Guybrush and of Flotsam that isn't on the VIP site.

Wow, haven't had a reason to drag up those scans for a while...

Wow, I've never seen that one before, I think there needs to be a deleted scene page where they show us early concepts that where dropped from the final version of the game(s).

A text file that lets you know where and when the hard to find/hear dialogue is.

There's also the huge concept artwork of all of the games environments which I'd love to see, like Flotsams concept artwork. And did I mention intro maps?

While this is awesome, sometimes early concept art wasn't approved by us or LucasArts, and therefore we still can't show it off. That being said, some of the art is interesting and well worth a look, so I'm sure it'll be seen someday. I drop by Ryan's desk pretty often just to see what he's doing- as a person with limited artistic ability, it's fascinating.

I just had a thought about the upcoming ToMI DVD, and thought I'd put in my two cents.

I have the DVD's for Sam & Max:Season 1 and SBCG4AP. While I'm sure that the type of material on the Strong Bad DVD was heavily influenced by the Brothers Chaps, might I say that I liked the extra content on the Sam & Max DVD better because I like knowing how it was all made, getting little insights from the creators about what goes on behind the scenes... etc, etc. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that every special feature on the Strong Bad disc insisted that the characters really exist and therefore never explored how the voice work was done or any of that, but instead it was just a big joke about Strong Bad's antics in your offices.

I really do want to hear from Dominic Armato, Earl Boen, Alexandra Boyd and Denny Delk what it is like to voice their character, as well as a small retrospective from Ron, Tim and Dave about what it's been like making the series as a whole, rather than just Tales.

I thoroughly enjoyed the commentaries for the Sam and Max cutscenes, so if you made one with the voice actors in it, and/or one with the writers in it that pointed out things that were Ron's influence (since written interviews aren't specific about it), that would be awesome.

I definitely agree that I loved the commentaries on the Sam&Max DVDs. I find them interesting, and I love knowing how things are made. And I love small anecdotes, like "we had to do this to make that work" or "originally we had planned a puzzle where you'd do this but changed our mind".

I love hearing about how the different sounds or textures were achieved, things like that. Some comment about the contest would be nice too. Like the "accuse Guybrush of wrongdoing", the way you worked the episode around not knowing what the last part would be, and what you thought about the suggestions, and what you might have been hoping for, things like that.
