Exclamation Sam & Max: Season One Case File

You've missed your chance to get the Season One Case File? Here's an auction that might interest you. Case File on eBay. Grab it while it's hot.

- > Case File on eBay

I got mine when Telltale was selling them. I mean, a load of cool game related stuff for how much was it? A dollar? Two? I don't even remember. I know it was cheap though.

I'll just wait until the Season 2 casefile comes out, since I don't have an ebay account anyway.

As for your sig #1225? That's 12/25, Christmas Day! That's a great number.

Hypno-goggles, half a page from the alien love triangle times, a Ted E Bear refrigerator magnet, a "one rabbit one law" campaign button, a paper napkin avec Bosco-tech biological weapon, and a postcard from the moon.

$50 for some paper knick nacks? woah.. madness. I'm curious to see if anyone actually pays that much, seems excessive to me, even for out of print paper knick nacks.

When I got the case file, season one soundtrack and The Age of S&M, I took some shots of what the case file contained. For all of you who haven't seen this yet, click the link.

- > Season One Case File Photos

I can't wait for the second case file. Selling a bunch of small items for cheap was a great idea. Anyone who wants it, can afford it. Great stuff for fans and you can already see that it's increasing in value haha.

P.S. - Thanks Freelance Poster! Haha. Seriously, now it doesn't feel all that bad to have that number.

Okay so this is awesome:

It makes me like the hypno prototypes so much more; after spending a year thinking they were the weakest link in the case file, they now may be my favorite.

Glad you like it. The sun was shining like crazy, so I used it. I had all the stuff on the table and the hypno glasses cast this neat shadow, really sharp too, so I took this picture.

You guys have no idea how happy I was to get all this stuff. Haha. It wasn't advertised as limited or special and it was so cheap. Who whouldn't want to get their hands on the items from the game. It's as if you've been to Bosco's.

If anybody cares to know, I am the one that won the case file in this auction.

It was definitely a high price, but I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere else. >_<

Anyway, the guy was pretty nice, very professional, and if he is to believed he sent it out the day I won the auction.

Damn ... Is it ten times the price of what it sold for originally? I should have stocked up on those things! Haha. Lucky me, I got it when it was still avalable. Same goes to the sketchbook and Effigy Mound.

By the way, how many copies of the sketchbook did you print, Telltale? I'm just wondering. Or does it say on the book? It should ...

The Age of S&M had two printings, and the Effigy Mound (to my memory) only had one printing, but it was larger than the initial Age of S&M printing. I don't know the numbers, however. Sorry

I had the same situation with the office print. I paid over four times the original price when one became available, but they just never show up on ebay so I went for it. The seller never expected to get what I paid so he threw in a frame for free. I can't complain though, its by far one of my favorite wall decorations. Paying extra makes me appreciate it that much more.

I just checked my old orders and found the invoice with Case File [and the Sketchbook]. The case file was $4.99 ... Nice.

Well I found this in an old blog (http://www.telltalegames.com/community/blogs/id-74)

Steve said he printed 750 and he only has about 200 with him at the show, so even if you couldn't make it to Comic-Con, I'm sure there will be other opportunities to buy it.

I expected that the original cost was around $5. I didn't care. xP

Yep,I know what you mean!,I check ebay each day and never see one!
Oh well,I'm sure if you're dilligent enough one'll eventually pop up and a bidding frenzy will ensue that will leave the high bidder's wallet quite a bit lighter and yelling mine...mine...ITS ALL MINE!!..AT LAST!!,while the rest of us beat a hasty retreat to our bedrooms where we'll draw the shades and weep in the darkness at yet another of lifes seemingly endless dissapointments,(like trying to grow that money tree by planting a quarter in the ground,or trying to get a badger to play nicely with the neighbors toddler)

Damn,I get all sad and crawly just thinkin' about it! I think I'll go for a drive....nothing like the sound of the wind rushing by as you blast through red lights with the radio cranked up to drown out the sirens and gunfire from behind......see folks its the simple things in life!
