ToMI Mouse not working, can't click

I was able to play launch of the screaming narwhal just fine. I enjoyed it for about an hour and then saved and left the game. The next day when I tried playing, I was able to load my game just fine, but when I get to where I left off, I can't click anything. I can move the mouse around and the keyboard works, but left and right clicking does nothing. Nothing changed on my computer between when it worked and when it didn't. Please help!
