There's so much potential. Too bad everyone's too scared or too noble to do it. Like I said before, it doesn't have to have voices. I'd be perfectly happy with subtitles. But, as you say, it will never happen.

Or too dumb. I fall into that category.

I say Hothead Games could pull it off. On the Rain-slick Precipice of Darkness (Penny Arcade) has a nice combination of 2D/3D art, and it was made without voices. Ron's Deathspank is also visually appealing with its combination of 2D/3D art. Hothead Games also ported Braid for Mac and PS3, so it seems like they have an interest in games with charming 2D art. Not to mention, Ron is certainly an adventure game enthusiast. It just seems like it would be a perfect fit to me.

Speaking of comic strips about historical figures, you guys seen this before?

It's a fanart, I don't know who drew it (tell me if you do) and I must say, while it's kinda sad, it's also kinda heartwarming.

Tredlow, that was adorable.
Anyway, I think I'd rather have an open-world Calvin & Hobbes game. Play as Calvin/Hobbes in (in-game) daytime, pulling pranks/playing Calvinball/wagon racing/toughing it out through school, and at (in-game) night, play as Spaceman Spiff/Stupendous Man/Tracer Bullet in various, hilarious scenarios! Man, I would pay top dollar to make this game!
