That is very much a typo. That was supposed to be updated to 10.5 this morning, but apparently the fix didn't go through. If you don't have a newer OS to play on, could you please email support@telltalegames.com and tell them I said you need a refund.

Sorry about that!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll just have to update to 10.6 on this machine, which is okay with me.

This is amazing, really made my day. I've been playing the games on my mac with crossover until now, and although it worked, it's great to see a native port.

On the other hands, I've got some bugs to report.

Using the mouse to move Guybrush around is basically a no-go. Every time I press down the left mouse button to move, the cursor seems to jump to the lower left corner, causing him to move in that direction every time. The mouse also seems to jump across the screen randomly now and then and it's all a bit frustrating. This is not something that's a problem generally for me in the OS or other games and it also worked perfectly when running the games in crossover. How fast can I hope for this to get fixed?

There's also some minor things when it comes to the launcher, like when the launcher's up and you switch to another window and try switching back again, it won't focus on the launcher's window. There's also some weird colory stuff happening when you launch the game and it's transitioning to fullscreen.

And another thing I'm curious about, is the game supposed to cover the whole screen or is it in a wider format than my screen(1680x1050)? Right now there's a bit of black at both top and bottom.

The game always letterboxes to 16x9, no matter what your resolution is. There are a few minor issues with the wrapper that we are still tracking down and will update as we fix them. Mostly we wanted to get it out to you guys, so our entire focus was on making sure the game actually unlocked and could be purchased and run and stuff. So those little tweaky things had to take a backburner til a future build.

As for click and drag, which episode are you seeing this in? We basically had to re-write the entire system since so much of it was reliant on DirectX.

Amazing surprise...
That's good news.
I already played through all chapters via Bootcamp, but the Mac version runs just fine.
Now I just have to wait for the DVD and a german language translation and all my wishes come true...

I have a click-and-drag problem similar to lersveen's.
So far, I've only tried Launch of the Screaming Narwhal, but when I try to control Guybrush using click-and-drag, he has a tendency to go to the left and when I stop holding the mouse button, the cursor jumps to the bottom left of the screen.

Ah, I understand, no biggie. I've only been testing the first episode, and only the intro-scene, I'll test later to see if it's that way throughout the game and also in other episodes. The sensitivity of the click and drag controlling also seems to be a bit low, have to drag the mouse halfway across my desktop to turn him around.

What happens if your PC version was downloaded from Steam? I still bought it!

Thank You TellTaleGames! Once again you show the world how it should be done!

You listen to customer feedback and you've actioned it! With a good timeline as well!

I used Crossover, Bootcamp, old windows laptop, everything to play Monkey island before, but now I can play on Mac, and the performance and graphic improvement is instantly recognizable!

You guys are simply the BEST at what you do, giving the customer EXACTLY what it wants, not what you think it wants!

KUDOS and thank you!

You are great people. Great. I don't have a MAC so have no need for the conversion but as far as fan/customer devotion goes you're easily #1.

I'm sure you're enjoying the new world of technical support queries

I can confirm that the bugs are present in ep. 2 too, and then probably also in all the other episodes. I guess it's just a simple thing to fix, right? I'm also experiencing that window-resizing thing after I quit the game, but I guess that's just from switching the resolution. I don't think it happens the second time I've launched an episode and the resolution has already been set to match my monitor's.

The first time you launch the games, they have a default resolution that might not match your monitor's (not sure which one it is, as I have already updated the resolution for all 5 episodes) and result in window-resizing when you launch and when you quit the game that first time.
Once you change the resolution in the settings, it will become the new default resolution for that episode and there should be no more window-resizing afterwards.

Glad I bought the games on not-Steam to get the LE season DVD! I LOOOOVE Steam, but I would have been pissed if I couldn't access the Mac versions of this. Perfect laptop games.

Why is Earl Boen the voice of LeChuck in the intro, though? Isn't that a little inconsistent? Are they getting him to re-record the LeChuck lines in the series or something?
