Default Can I upgrade to the version with the DVD?

Hi - I sent an email to customer support but figure I'd post here too.

I ordered Sam & Max season 2 from this here website in July last year. At the time I couldn't afford the postage to the UK for the DVD and it wouldn't let me pay that at a later date so I ordered the digital only version.

Now that you're offering free postage on orders over $50 I wondered if I might be able to 'upgrade' and get a copy of the Season 2 DVD along with the order I already placed for the Tales DVD / S&M Season 3 as there's not actually a difference in price between the digital only and DVD package?

I hope I've explained my request properly...

Thanks!

You can upgrade to get the DVD, if you ordered the season here on the Telltale site. Just put your order number on the shop page where it says "your order number".

The good thing, it doesn't even cost anything except the shipping. The bad thing, this obviously doesn't help you getting over $50.

Btw. ordering Season 3 and the Tales deluxe upgrade together qualifies for free shipping. Maybe this is a reasonable option for you.

Yes! This isn't just a reasonable request, Telltale do this with nearly all their games. All you need to do is go to your "My Games" page, copy your order number for Sam & Max series 2, go to the shop, click on the series 2 DVD and enter your order number. The price should go down to $0.00 so all you have to worry about is the ridiculously high postage. :P If you're getting the free postage thing then you're ok.

I myself am in the UK and am getting the Deluxe Monkey Island pack and S&M series 3 and am getting my S&M series 1 and 2, Wallace and Gromit and Strongbad DVDs at the same time because otherwise the postage would cost $36...

=/

EDIT: I just saw you already have a reply but I also see that you say you have already ordered S&M3 and ToMI Deluxe. Is this your predicament?

I think you both misread.

He already has an order, but wants to add the free season 2 disc to it, instead of order that seperately (and thus having to pay shipping for it).

The only way to do that is by the TTG support. Have you tried sending a mail, that usually works faster than posting on the forums...

Thanks for all the responses. Everyone read it correctly but Hassat Hunter is most accurate - this is exactly what I want. I've already placed an order and just want to amend the order to include the Sam and Max DVD. I've emailed them directly - haven't received a reply as of yet so decided to post here to maximise my chances of getting it seen before the order is processed and shipped out!

It will still take about a month for ToMI DVD's to be shipped, so it seems unlikely not to be resolved before that time...

Hi guitarsareboring,
Check your pm's for an explanation. It's kinda complicated.

Cheers,
bonnie
