Hi everyone,

I already posted this idea in the VIP welcome thread, but I thought it could use it's own topic.

I was thinking about the Monkey Island slip cover as an exclusive pre-order bonus, and I started thinking about Sam and Max.
What would be a great idea for a pre-order bonus... and then it hit me!
A real Freelance Police badge!

Of course this is all pure speculation, but the idea of a Freelance Police badge as a pre-order bonus would be the best ever!
I know I'd pre-order, if I hadn't already!

So, what do you guys think?

An official badge design has been made and occasionally shows up, but I don't think there has ever been an actual physical badge of it. But here's a good look:

Actually there was an official badge made of it, it graces the cover of the re release of hit the highway, that graces the back cover of the re release of surfing the highway.

Edit: I am totaly up for next all we need to do, is get t-shirts, and become official not so official freelance police fan club.

I already said that a good half an hour earlier, with not so many repetitions or words. I like the fan club! but we need badges first...

Yeah, I've seen the badge design before. But this is the first time I've seen a physical one!
And I'm all for the official not so official freelance police fan club.
But first we need badges! We do need some stinkin' badges!

Add it to the list of "Sam & Max 'cheap touristy crap we don't need' merchandise that we need but hasn't been made for some completely uncomprehensible reason", just under "Sam & Max plush toys".

I'd certainly buy one.

I'd like to mention that I would pay cash money for a badge far sooner than I'd pay cash money for a plush toy. No idea why Sam and Max plush toys have 0% appeal to me. Maybe it's because I'm a manly man that does manly things.
