Simpsons hasn't been appealing to me for years but I prefer it miles over Family Guy. In fact:

The Venture Brothers > Futurama > Simpsons >>>>>>>> Family Guy

I like The Simpsons early series (s1 to s10), but not the newer episodes. I like Family Guy but it went stale alot quicker than The Simpsons ever did.

Up until season 15 or so i say THE SIMPSONS, but after those seasons it devolved dramatically and now i prefer Family guy since it has evolved.

I still watch the old simpsons seasons, really hate the new ones.

Simpsons were okay for about 10 Seasons, but it's like it never ends now! Family Guy is better than The Simpsons right now but that may change if they make that change.

A series is only good when it ends, like, all the time.

Hard decision. Can't really say. So I vote neither.

Here's a thought. What if all 4 of the animated Comedy shows fuse together. That would most likely make the world explode of awesome.

So TellTale games...what about doing something like that? Eh? *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Yes, it would be awesome if you threw a grilled cheese sandwhich, ice cream, steak, and pizza into a blender and drank the resulting concoction. If things are great separately, they must combine extremely well.

I call this Kingdom Hearts logic. And funnily enough, it only ever seems to work in Kingdom Hearts.

While Family Guy and Simpsons are both not near as good as the earlier seasons, I'm going to go with The Simpsons. I grew up watching The Simpsons, and I can't discount that. Though, I don't really watch either show anymore, save once in a while, but as overall series, it's a no-brainer.

Neither. Though I used to be partial to Simpsons, I don't watch it as much these days. I never watch Family Guy, either. So... Futurama.

I love the Simpsons, always have and always will - even through the poorer years which I feel ended when the film came out. As for Family Guy, aside from the Star Wars parodies (which are great, for the most part), I can't really get into it.

I dunno, I thought it got worse for awhile after the film before it got better again. The film itself was amazing and rekindled my interest in The Simpsons, but the actual series took a bit to recover.

Family Guy all the way. Simpsons doesn't even make me laugh.

BTW, Neikron, the narrator's name in your sig is Gary Owens.

The Simpsons. Family Guy does two things that engender my apathy:

1) Use an ensemble cast which has evolved into a group of thoroughly unlikable schlubs.

2) Humor that relies too much on shock value, crudeness, and repetitive gags for my taste. I prefer my subversive/irreverent/edgy humor employed with a sense of choosiness and subtlety, thankyouverymuch.

And since a bunch of other shows were mentioned ... any King of the Hill fans here? While I wouldn't call it remarkable or super funny, it does have an affection for its characters that's left me smiling after just about every episode I've seen.

Thanks, I wasn't sure who he was, but I always loved his narrating.

I'm definitely a King of the Hill fan. I've never found myself laughing hysterically, but the thing I like about it is that it's consistent throughout.
