It's too late, now, but...
With Tales, I was really excited at the idea that LeChuck might stay human. Even better, human and good (if a bit stupid and not good with puzzles).
The way I see it, by Curse, LeChuck being the villain was already getting old. Now it's just annoying. I thought that would be a great way to keep him in the games while having other villains. Plus that would have been a great way to deal with Earl Boen retiring, too.
Anyway, that hasn't happened. And I was sad. But at least with the whole voodoo lady development there might be some more originality there, rather than the same thing again.
For the record, I was also pretty disappointed that Guybrush got his hand back

What was the point of him losing it then? It just... "We're making a bold move, but then we undo it!". I was disappointed. I don't like when things return to status quo.
