Sounds interesting. I found another page, with more information about the series:

It says they're going to be novels (with colour illustrations) instead of comics, and they aren't actually written by Jeff Smith. So it'll be something a little different, but it sounds like they're really into the idea and quite confident that it'll be good.

If Jeff got blown away by them, they must be good.
