But it WOULD be awesome if LucasArts actually did that! A whole new ending just for the fans... cool!

Yeah, I'm sorry to say, but the "old" MI2 shot is one of the worst hoax shots I've seen in a long time.

the pixellated version ("old version") is just the hi-res one ran through a pixellation filter, you can tell because everything is blurry except the characters, and all the little details represented in the high-res are still in the low-res.

secondly the guybrush and the lechuck are just pasted in from other sources, as is the treasure chest. and you can tell because guybrush's arm holding the chest doesnt match with the rest of the character model and it just looks drawn in.

not even tricky even for a second.

Honestly, it took me three hours to work on the first image, the HD one. The second image was thrown in just for effect... and at 4 AM I didn't pay too much attention to details. Hey, it tricked some people, including my bro > : ) I am satisfied
