Default Webcomics! The Good Kind!

Here are some of mine:
  • Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name! - A guy named Hanna teams up with an amnesiac zombie to investigate and fight the creatures of the dark! It's pretty new, but it's getting pretty popular.
  • Gunshow - A comic not for kids! Just random humor strips by K.C. Green. "The Anime Club" strips are a must, especially if you're into anime.
  • Horribleville - By the same guy, only it's ended! It's an semi-autobiographical account of K.C. Green's daily life and his struggles with being an artist. It's a lot funnier and a lot less pretentious than it sounds, I swear. Also, if you've ever seen 'Dickbutt', this is where it comes from.
  • A Lesson Is Learned But The Damage Is Irreversible - On hiatus, but still amazing. Just a bunch of one-shot surreal comics about various things, like a man who's granted a wish every time he wants to commit suicide, and finding the meaning of existence from a yeti in the mountains. By the way, the artist of the comic did pretty much all the art for Braid, so if you liked the graphics of that game, this is definitely worth a look.
  • Awkward Zombie - Pretty much the only 'girl gamer' comic I can stand! Not much to say, other than it's pretty funny and sometimes actually kind of adorable.
  • Gunnerkrigg Court - A girl moves to a school that combines science with magic, and encounters lonely robots and mythic legends. Kind of hard to explain in brief, but if Neil Gaiman likes it, so should you!
  • Penny Arcade - Dude, it's Penny Arcade. What else is there to say about it?

That's all I can think of for now. What are some of your favorite webcomics, guys?

hasn't been mentioned yet (or I missed it). About regular humans (and some other races) who land in another world and get Godly powers, becoming a DnD-style pantheon.
To give you an idea the main character, Ronson, is the God og alcohol and apathy.

Boxer Hockey A silly comic series (with a plot I should add!) with great facial expressions in my opinion.

Sorcery 101 A comic with magic, sorcery, were wolfs, and vampires- If you like Hanna's Not a Boy's Name, then this is well worth the read.

The Dreamer Kinda girly, but really interesting. Basically about a girl who, when she dreams, is in the time period of America fighting for independence and it's a reality...hard to explain and give it justice, but go ahead and read if you want.

GG-Guys A gamer comic, very funny...may not be Penny Arcade of VGCats like, but very funny.

My absolute FAVORITE currently-running webcomic is Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. It's pretty consistently hilarious, and the humor is pretty smart a lot of the time.

That Dr. McNinja has yet to be mentioned is a crime against humanity. He is a doctor that is also(and, oddly predominantly) a Ninja.

In the "dead comics whose archives should be read by everyone" category, we have Perry Bible Fellowship. AWESOME stuff there.

Also recently mentioned in this forum: Axe Cop. The comic written by a five year-old!

Dinosaur Comics consistently gets me to smile. I understand that it goes ahead and shamelessly stomps on everything that makes comics good, and there's absolutely no reason Dinosaur Comics should exist as sequential art. But I still laugh, so I read it.

I read Penny Arcade and Ctrl Alt Del more out of habit than actual entertainment, the strips stopped amusing me long ago(though Penny Arcade sometimes manages a chuckle). I continue to enjoy Tycho's news posts more than the actual comic on a very consistent basis.

Amazing Superpowers can be hilarious.

Paradigm Shift is my favorite webcomic ever. It's a supernatural cop/mystery story and it's really well written/drawn. It's on hiatus now but the author says it's coming back sometime in May. Perfect time to catch up on the archives!

I also like to read The Meek, FreakAngels, The Zombie Hunters and Evil Diva. and just FYI but all of these except for Evil Diva are a little NSFW in some places due to gore/nudity.

They've already been mentioned, but I love Hanna is Not a Boy's Name! and Gunnerkrigg Court, too.
