Default Systems?

Ever since I downloaded from vista my computer has been messing up. My question is do you have any plans to get sam and max on a ps3, xbox 360, or a wii. If not is there a chance that is MAY happen. PS. These games rock

Well if you played any of the other contests that were listed in the news, one was all about how you as a user would like to see the wiimote mixed with sam and max and how it could work. Apparently the though has or is crossing their minds. Im sure of it.

Well, TT is (or was) hiring a “Wii Systems Programmer” for an upcoming game and is searching for a senior software engineer with Console development experience. That hints something....

And then a "360 Systems Programmer".

Although it wasn't as big of a deal, and not as many noticed....

They haven't officially said that they are definately going to have Sam & Max on consoles, but they're definately giving it serious consideration. I wouldn't be surprised to see a port to the Wii and/or another system.

Can't comment on the console dispute. But the Vista problem tends to only be for episode 1. 2-6 should run just fine. A Vista safe version of Culture Shock will be available around the time the DVD ships..which is soon.

Yeah, episode 1 is the only one I have trouble with, as it keeps asking me for my activation code, but episodes 2-6 are just fine...

A new game at whole for the Wii would be fun, but I'd like to see a port of Season 1, too. My computer is really crappy, you see...

A couple of months ago on Kotaku I read that Connors, CEO of Telltale, was planning on doing stuff on the three consoles of the last generation (360, Wii, PS3), but primarily on the Wii - the whole Infrared thing would be perfect for a point-n-click adventure (Something tells me that they're also planning on selling stuff on the online services of these consoles, just like GameTap).

The Wii is the perfect console for sam and max, the controller is, well... the mouse and you can program the nunchuck to switch the item you want to use, works!

There's gotta be some way Sam & Max could utilize the Wii. New content and mini-games might have to be made for Wii versions, to make use of the motion remote. I'm not sure what though.

^ Classic Whack-A-Rat done by aiming with the remote and swinging the nunchuk like a hammer, with the option to hit Max?

That could be sooo good or sooo bad, depending on how it's done.

I really would prefer a whole new game for the Wii, instead of just a port of season one. Especially with mini-games and controls specifically designed to use the controller, as suggested by AdamG.

Ooh, just thought of an idea for a gag... Sam finds a Wii controller in the game world... Max gets ahold of it and starts moving the cursor around himself and interacting with items, while you are sitting there trying to fight against him to get back control of the game. Yes!

In the car scene scenes, TT can have the remote become a steering like how other companies do with their racing games.

No one here did the contest that asked for wii specific control ideas? It was listed along with the telltale contest. I sure did and I had pages and pages of ideas. Add an option for max to punch random things.. also when punching people to wake them up you should have to press a button combo and do like a full circle swing motion like your revving a punch up and then let it fly forward POW.. if you fail the combo let it come back and hit yourself or some random item. The car mini game needs alot of work but I sense real potential here. Have a fully functional casino. Use the wiimote to pull the arm on the one armed bandit and use the wiimote to draw cards and such. Use sam and max's long shown dart board in minigame with a nice dart game requiring the wiimote... my ideas are endless if ya want more i got em lol
