A dxdiag log would be helpful.

dxdiag
Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.

Now click on the button that says "save all information".
It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

Then zip the file and attach it to a reply in this Thread.

You have the same problem as the other guy one thread further down. The same old driver for the same GPU.

Did you try it this way to install the latest Intel driver from the zip file?
It should bypass the manufacturer check, so you're not depending on them to validate and release drivers for your notebook model.

If that doesn't work, instead of the Dell driver linked in my quote you should try what sony provides.
