Just thought Id point out to all those who use steam, there is a holdiay sweepstakes going on now where you can make a wishlist(which your friends can see what you want) 30 people get their top 5 games every day.
I know how bad the odds are for winning this, but it doesnt cost anything and who knows, maybe YOU could win or a friend could gift that game for you.

Thanks for the info. I never would have found this out otherwise.

This might make me finish my goal to get the entirety of Sam and Max season 2 for free.

One thing a lot of people seem to be missing, you need to have at least ten (10) items in your wishlist to be entered in the drawing.

Precisely. I can front the $10 or $15 necessary. If I'm going for free, I might as well pick the MMO that I won't play unless I get the base title for free rather than the game that I know I'll shore up the pocket change to play soon enough.

Argh, I didn't win. I would have loved to have gotten Assassin's Creed 2 without having to give Ubisoft money for it.

If I win I'll have all the games in the half life series but the spinoffs from half life 1. Including the portal series, but I dont think I won, but Ill go check.
