Default SoMI instant crash

hi,
today i bought SoMI and could install it without any problems, but when i started it, a black screen appears and after 3 seconds or so it instantly crashed and went back to desktop.

i have win7 (32bit), intel core2 duo T9300 2.50GHz, 4GB ram, geforce 8700M GT

windows doesnt tell me any reason, just that the programm has to be closed due to a problem...

i tried to execute it as administrator and every XP and Vista compatibility mode and checked the drivers, nothing worked.
i also checked the lucas arts forums and found some people with the same problem, but they purchased their game via steam and their hardware didnt fit the requirements, which i think/hope i do ^^

anyone has a hint or idea, it would be much appreciated.

so long,
10tacle

I heard that SMI:SE doesn't support some CPUs. Maybe that's it?

No problem. Even though I had nothing to do with it . Glad it's working.
