I'd like to ask that the Telltale team please make a toggle for real-time shadows.

I've tried running The Penal Zone on both OSX and Windows 7, on the same computer, with a nice GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB. In Windows 7, I can run at graphics level 9 with no slowdowns, and everything looks great. In Mac OSX, anything above graphics level 6 slows the game to a crawl. It seems like level 7 has shadows enabled while level 6 doesn't, which would appear to cause the slowdown.

I guess maybe your OpenGL shadowing system is just slower than the DirectX one. It would be great, of course, if you guys could make it run at a similar speed, but if not, it would be really nice if I could just turn off shadows so that I could run everything else at high graphics levels.

Thanks for whatever solution you come up with.

It would even be better if there was an expert mode on the graphics settings page with checkboxes for every graphics feature, like:
[ ] Shadows
[ ] Anti-Aliasing
[ ] Grain Filter XD
