What do you want Guybrush to look like in future games? I think that since his Tales outfit was heavily based on his outfit from MI2, it'd be nice if his next one was like his outfit in Curse. It'd also be cool to see him with his hair down rather than done up in a ponytail.

No. Keep his coat. Just redesign it a bit. Or not at all. And the reason his hair is in a pony tail is because that's what pirates do. They don't wear their hair down.

I hope they don't even use the same model for Guybrush if they make another season of Tales. It'd be weird to have a Guybrush that didn't change entirely between games.

Yeah, but Guybrush has always been girly, this would be a hilarious extention to that.

i totally disagree, the alot of people the blue Jacket, it suits him, and plus he cant have his hair down, having it in a ponytail is kind of him trade mark, itd like having Lechuck with no beard

I see no need to change the model for Guybrush ultimately. The tales are exactly that, seasonal. But minor changes for posterity would be great, just to show that yes Guybrush does change/bathe (only because Elaine makes him).
Maybe a return of the cummerbund? While the beard was a gamble Telltale made quite well off, perhaps remove it, or make a more subtle goatee (story arc, Elaine makes him shave it?).
Change the hair, so he looks less 80's pop singerish???

Bring back the SOMI pants?
Really I'm happy with Tales doing what they want as opposed to me/others pestering how Guybrush should look. I trust Telltale Games with the perpetuation of the legend that is Monkey Island.

He should definitely get some new clothes.. and possibly a new hairdo just to remain faithful to all the games... Guybrush always changes from game to game.... Its tradition.

I love this 3D version of what looks a lot like CMI Guybrush. Justin, why don't you work for Telltale yet?

Im not entirely sure what I would do there... they already have people that can do things I do only better.

ANYWAY, I actually don't really want Guybrush's model to change at all, since his ToMI model was my favorite---I even like it (and Elaine's model) better than in CMI. I guess if anything should change, it should be his outfit and maybe the hair. . BUT THE SIDEBURNS MUST STAY!

Red coat wouldn't be as common... Red coats where worn by the royal army at the time.... the blue coats came from the Royal Navy..... many sailors and pirates ended up wearing them.... not that NONE of them had red coats because obviously they did..... but a coat is a coat right?

Now you may hate EMI, but even though Guybrush had a very blocky model, he had some cool clothes there. I think that red outfit would look nice on our hero in the next season.

About the beard... I think it would be cool if every season (or even every episode?) his beard expands a little, until he ends up with a glorious pirate beard. Or just keep the goatie. I don't want him shaved anytime soon, unless it somehow ties in with the story. For exampe, if he meets a trio of familiar barbers and they shave him as revenge or something like that. :P

Now that they've established the character with the sort of Revenge/Curse hybrid outfit, I feel like they could design their own outfit for him and not feel the need to pay direct tribute to the previous ones as much. I do like that his look is different in every game so I would be pretty sad if he looked exactly the same in a future season of Tales.

My favorite article from Escape was his nifty belt buckle with the GT on it--a bit of a throwback to Grim Fandango. But yes, the red coat was pretty cool.
