i been watching the Series of How i met your mother, and when i see Neil Patrick Harris, i think if they did a live action Monkey Island, he could pull of Guybrush Threepwood.

cause he can play it clumsy or dorky as guybrush and be a likeable character. what do you think?

Except for the fact that he's in his mid 30s.

I totally agree if NPH was younger..... but the only Guybrush he could play now is Tales and it would suck to start there.

Er, it's not like older people haven't taken on the roles of a young character before. You really think Michael J. Fox were 16 years old in Back To The Future?

Fox was still in his early 20s though. Actuall age aside, Patrick Harris just strikes me as too old for the character.

it would be like the different incarnations of Monkey Island of the films,just like we have for games have a young looking actor to play guybrush and when he's older, it would be neil partick harris, but it might not work hence how the orignal batman movies were

Christopher Masterson (Francis from Malcolm in the Middle) would be better for Guybrush.

Hm...haven't really seen any acting of him so far, but from his looks I'd say that his face is a little too square to match Guybrush's look.

Watch Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. He is adorably cute and nerdy in that one. And he also looks a whole lot younger than anything else I've seen him in.
