That's awesome. Aside from the sport culture, I can't really think of anything that is culturally distinctive about North America. By that, of course I mean the median of camaraderie that exists. A die-hard fanbase that exists with minimal violence.

That's what comes to mind when I think of something our countries excel at.

I don't follow baseball in the slightest, but I really want to see a game because it's such a super-American thing to me. I love how Canada and the US are the only countries that get to play in the "World" Series.

Well I'm sure she's a nice person regardless. lol. I don't overly follow it, I just felt like making a joke. Little factoid that's pretty meaningless: My city used to have an MLB minor league team, and at one time, they were the affiliate of the Mariners. I knew a guy who was "somebody" in the organisation(no idea what they were, i was a kid) and I literally had 100s of autographs, probably should've kept them, at least one of them probably panned out in the majors. I'm almost afraid to check the rosters of those years to see what I lost out on lol.

Chicago has some.


Now if your in San Diego. I would say a padres game..there is a pizza place in san diego called Pizza Port and it's delicious.

Also spend some time in the gas lamp..always great time.

You're in Southern California, right? You should take her to the Santa Monica pier, a Dodgers game, In-N-Out, and maybe Disneyland (though that's not strictly American, I guess...). The San Diego Zoo would also be a nice trip if you want to drive a ways.

If all else fails, In-N-Out is a must though, because that's something she couldn't get anywhere else.

The zoo is a given. I live pretty close to Balboa Park. The issue is no driving. She isn't 25 so renting a car is out and I can't drive. San Diego isn't exactly known for public transit...
