If you've been playing them with a controller on PC, then you're not missing anything. I have a few on PSN and didn't even finish playing through all of them....even with the trophy incentive, I just couldn't be bothered. I'll eventually get back to them, but no, it's not really worth the money for the exact same experience if you have a decent computer(if not, then go for it).

Only if your PC is ten years old and runs like an old man.

I love playing games on a TV . But that's probably because my TV is really large . So I can enjoy them better on a larger screen, even though the resolution is not better.

As for PS3 games I haven't bought many but can suggest a few to you. Did you buy a few when you got you system? I bought cheapy games when I first bought mine. I mean like PS3 titles 5 bucks or 10 , something like that. Money used to be cheaper for me.

By the way most modern computers can hook up and display and modern TVS

I have no games as yet. I do have Bluray movies (which were given to me as gifts months ago instead of DVDs, but I kept them anyway) and Netflix, so the PS3 isn't just collecting dust.

I've been scouring websites for recommended games, and have added a number of them to my PSN wish list. Too bad said wish is not available to view from the PS3's PSN store, but oh well.

Let's see... my wish list currently includes:
  • Braid
  • Castle Crashers
  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1)
  • Chrono Cross (PS1)
  • Critter Crunch
  • echochrome
  • Final Fantasy Origins (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy V (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy VI (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy VII (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
  • Flower
  • Heavy Rain
  • inFamous
  • Joe Danger
  • Journey
  • Legend of Mana (PS1)
  • Limbo
  • Metal Gear Solid 4
  • Missile Command
  • Outland
  • PAC-MAN CE DX
  • Pixel Junk Monsters
  • Pixel Junk Shooter
  • Prince of Persia Classic
  • Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty
  • Renegade Ops
  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
  • Stacking
  • Super Stardust HD
  • wipEout HD
The only Ratchet game I have is the first one for my PS2, so I dunno if the one I listed is the right one to start up again with on the series. I also already have FF7, FF8 and Legend of Mana on disc for PS1 but I like the idea of a digital copy and no disc-swapping.

Also, none of these games do I currently own on PC.

Feel free to recommend anything.

Ratchet: QfB fits specifically within the modern cannon, but they give you an update as to what's going on. It's just a short game(2009 PSN give them a break), like 3hrs or so and there's limited weapons, but it is very enjoyable. Plus there's Rusty Pete.

If you want modern cannon, go grab Tools of Destruction(I love that game). It goes ToD>QfB>Crack In Time

Chryon I encourage you to get Playstation Plus. Deals, Deals, and early demo, and so much more. It's worth 50 bucks a year.

It IS worth it. I don't have it because I'm not on my PS3 all the time like I used to. Now I'm just playing the Ratchet games, NHL, and stalk the folks on my list...who played AC all night.

Holy shit, The Walking Dead is turning out to be Telltale's biggest hit so far and I still haven't purchased it.

Doesn't help that I have a zombie apocalypse phobia.

Also, I'm not fucking kidding.

I bought it and can not get myself to keep playing it. It doesn't help that I could have spent the 25 bucks on dozens of other things I've been meaning to get for months.

I want to get through it, I just can't get myself to want to open it again.

You get free games from the PSN with PS+?

If I were to cancel, do I still keep the games I got for free?

No. That's the catch. They are "free to play for Plus members". At least the promo ones are. They throw in retro games now and then and I'm not sure about those.

Considering Vivicus is Rather Dashing and Malavai Quinn is my in-game npc companion who has to follow me where ever I go, I can't.

Watching Sherlock. Can honestly say I like this show better than Doctor Who.
