Default SoMI at Telltale

Is this Telltale sale of SoMI a one time thing or will SoMI be continued to be sold at Telltale beyond the sale?

Also, is it actually a Telltale download (IE: /mytelltale)

If you haven't seen it yet, SoMI:SE and ToMI are being sold at Telltale in a week long offer.

Turns out it is indeed a /mytelltale download. I caved in and bought it.

Maybe that'll launch when the steam-mac client launches?

So if the game is going to be available on Telltale's website from now on, does that mean we can get a forum for SOMI:SE to discuss it and the other Special Editions outside of the Tales section?

So is Secret exclusive to this deal, or is it going up in Telltale's store later?

You can buy the game seperately now. (it's in smaller print, underneath the picture)

I can't see why Telltale wouldn't keep it in the store beyond the bundle sale, especially since it's already being sold separately. The prior press releases about its presence at telltalegames.com made no mention of a limited time.

Hopefully someone more Telltale-esque than I will jump in and confirm.

Maybe Telltale will bring back the old third party section of the forum.

I wonder if this means more third party games will be available in the future too?

Activating this doesn't have the snappy launcher other games do, instead it's the offensive and rather vicious SecuROM default activator made to make you feel like a criminal.

Also, Wizpig, the Mac version is published by a different company. Telltale may not have the rights to it.

I've already activated, so now I can't see it. Launching the game goes straight to the LucasArts logo now.

Every time I try to install it it claims I've got a corrupted download. Hopefully this attempt will work - but obviously other people on the thread have got it to run

Thanks for adding this, Telltale. The effort is most definitely appreciated.

I've been waiting for a non-Steam version for some time now.

This didn't make me feel like a criminal, so I don't know what he's talking about.

Maybe that's just because I've been activating games with serial codes for well over a decade now.

It just seems strangely violent to me. I have to go through what effectively reminds me of passport control to play a game, the most innocent thing ever.
