Default Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: What platform are you getting it on?

So, who's getting what platform? Personally, I'm getting the PC version. I'm really bad at moving a cursor with a controller, I prefer a mouse, and I know my PC can handle the game. I might try my luck with the XBOX 360 version in time, though. I also have an Ipod touch, so that would be my other option for after the PC version.

But wait, how do I create a poll? I know that's probably a stupid question that everyone knows the answer to, but I have no clue.

When creating the thread, down the bottom there is a check box for adding a poll to the thread. Im not sure if you can add one after you have started the thread though.

Ok, I've made the poll. You can choose multiple options.

I am a PC gamer so I chose PC, games like Monkey Island on a console just don't seem right to me.

PC version from Telltale for me too. I just hope it isn't released on Steam first, and then it takes a year before it's available from the Telltale store.

Same here, except for the trophies, which I don't care about.

...And I don't have any of the other consoles.
Yeah. That too.

You know that you can move Guybrush directly, right? With the arrow keys or control pad or whatever.
I'm not sure how selecting items works, though. Maybe you do have to move the cursor for them or maybe you just have to lead Guybrush to them, Grim Fandango style?

In any case, I'll be playing it the classic way so I'll get the Windows version.

Yeah, it's been mentioned that its more of Tales style control system, so you control guybrush directly and move the cursor to interact with objects.

PC version. From Telltale if they're selling it at launch. From Steam if not.

Wow, huge amount of people getting the PC version. Not surprising, though. I'll probably get the game off Steam if Telltale doesn't release it first, but does anyone know how to get the games onto a disc for backup?

It may have started on PC but it's also been on consoles for several years. I don't know about CMI but I know EMI is on the PS2, and Lechuck's Revenge was on Amiga. TMI is ported to lots of different stuff.

the controls are much better for EMI on PS2 then PC plus theres a map of moves to make monkey kombat go much faster. So consol gameing isnt bad for MI

360 because I already have a load of points on my account so won't have to pay anything extra like I would elsewhere. It also looks better on my big HDTV
