Yeah, sorry buddy, can't help you there. To be quite frank, I see a lock in the near future.

Pretty sure they are in that format for a reason.

If you must have the music, just capture some gameplay footage with FRAPS, and then extract the audio from that.

If I recall correctly someone had made a TTARCH extractor in the past, after which TTG encrypted their archives, which doesn't make it impossible to extract, but it does show that they prefer you keep your hands out of their data archives.

(Personally, I think that if you paid for it, you should be able to do with the game as you whish, as long as you don't share with others who may not have paid for the game.)

Just because you paid for a game does not mean that you own it. What you pay for is a license to play said game, which binds you to a legal agreement. That sounds rough, I know. I am sure that Telltale will consider releasing an official soundtrack for SBCG4AP at some point, though, much like they did with Sam & Max. If nothing else, they may release a few MP3's on the site.

with the licence thing thats what you buy, the right to have the music, visuals and sound effects together.

telltale may release the mp3s along with blogs as they did with a few sam and max songs

Yeah, but as far as I know, the license doesn't entitle you to hack up the game files. However, there is nothing wrong with listening to the music and other assets together in-game. You may even be able to get away with the FRAPS method that Soultaker described above, and still be on legal ground, seeing as it doesn't reverse engineer the game in the process.

Yeah, in the US at least, whether or not you have the license to the sound files themselves you still can't get them out thanks to the DCMA.

I don't know about SBCG4AP, but the Sam and Max music wasn't stored in the TTARCH file. It was stored separately in AUD files, which were basically OGG Vorbis files with some extra header data prefixing them. They may have changed how they do things since then, though.

I don't know if Telltale wants you rifling through their files, but I'm sure you could find these kind of things *coughtelltalemusicextractorcough* with a simple Google search.

http://quick.mixnmojo.com/software/t...usic-extractor

I don't think it's an issue to extract music files because if Telltale DO release music from a game it's always in a higher quality format than what's bundled inside the games. So you can only get the really good high quality stuff from them if they choose to release it.

Of course, I could be wrong.
