Heres the real Facebook link to the group as the one provided above for some reason brings up a spam advert and adds an usual application to your profile which I would recommend removing if you did get it from that link.

Yeah, but I'd imagine that'd be reversed sometime during the game... and they'd still need his voice.

They might be able to re-use some of the old footage from the original and just overdub some new voice over it.

If they are going to do the second toonstruck anyways, wouldn't it just be easier for an animated Loyd?

Everything was completed for the 2nd half already before they cut it, the animation, puzzles, cutscenes, voices, it was all done and ready to go but Virgin thought to hold onto it cause they thought it would make lots of cash and release it as a sequel if it did well.

Better say "Holy crow". Then you'll sound like Bella Swan

Some guy called Bernard Le Moullec who on both the Petition website and Facebook has said he recieved an email from Keith Arem the other day with some "Exciting" news attached. One of the forum guys at AdventureGamers.com found out he's a french IT graduate with a job in games journalism/development and he emailed Bernard to confirm this and was given a copy of the e-mail that he got from Keith Arem, the news contained within was indeed exciting but hes requested private correspondance for now and can't spread the details right now. Apparently if you want to know what this "Exciting" news is you have to email him yourself which I believe he put his address up on the Facebook page.

I always hoped they would re-release this ever since I stumnbled onto this game's trailer a few years ago! It looks like it's awesome! Well by 90's standards anyway! I just hope this isn't another internet hoax!

No, it isn't a hoax. There were several confirmations by Mr. Arem himself: another letter and a mini-interview with him.

I loved Toonstruck - it was so unusual. Its in the cupboard above my head right now. Think I'll get it out (when I've finished playing Gilbert Goodmate & The Mushroom of Phungoria) and see if it'll run under XP. Petition signed.

Oh, trust me. We know about Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2. There will be hell to pay if they screw it up.

And Toonstruck is worth getting, provided you don't have to pay a fortune for it. It's a good game, but it's not really worth more than $20 or so. (I think. I'm English, so I'm estimating the price. Around £15, anyway)

Wow! I bought mine when it'd been out two years and got it for only £4.99 (US$8) on White Label. Good old Electronics Boutique. I used to love that shop. But, yep, if you're at all tempted, definitely buy it. Its quirky.

Ah, I vaguely remember EB. Those were the days, when CDs didn't have copy protection and games had some serious imagination to them. Memories...
