I can understand, say, certain games being cheaper here than on Steam for competition's sake, but why is the price for TOMI PC DL at the TT store so much higher than that for PSN?

I'm just jealous that I don't have a PS3, I guess.

It was available ~~for the same price~~ even cheaper here for a few weeks.

A couple reasons I can think of immediately are that it's a closed platform (The iPad version of The Penal Zone is only $2 FFS), and that it's not eligible for any of the TTG.com perks, like PC/Mac installs, the season-end DVD, or the Treasure Hunt promo.

This is true. It's also true that TT just showed up on my radar this month. I didn't even know there was a new Monkey Island game
