Default LeChuck's Revenge:SE patch?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is there a patch (official) that has been released recently to correct some of the errors in MI2:SE.

I haven't been following the threads lately and I could have sworn I got info on a patch from Steam or LucasArts the other week... or month...

Or am I just going crazy?

Namely I want to fix that acid-pit glitch, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. Steam updates games automatically, but as I already finished the game, it could have taken months before I would have used Steam client again (I haven't bought anything besides few LucasArts adventures from Steam and I have completed all of them).

Steam is A LOT more friendly with developers and companies with patches, normally they just give them a straight pass, so as soon as a developer finishes a patch, throw it to Steam and they put it on the Server. Xbox Live and PSN though, has to go through multiple checks and regulations for each Store Region, etc before a patch gets approved.

Interesting thing, even though the PS3 version hasn't received the patch, there IS music in the Dinky Island Jungle, which surprised me on a play through.

I really don't see where people get this idea. It's not Steam that's more "friendly", it's the PC platform by its very nature that has always been very open and lenient. Steam is just an online store for said PC games. (Like Direct2Drive, only fancier.) If they held games back for bug tests, all the other sites that *don't* bug test would beat them to releasing software.

People have very, very different expectations when they install a game to PC and when they run it on a console. Not that bugs don't happen on console versions. They do. But uneducated users tend to solely blame the hardware when something doesn't work right. That's why the assorted console markets have to make sure that, at least from a consumer perspective, it's not going to be horribly buggy and/or mess up their system.

Besides, I was not under the impression that the console version was missing any music. *shrug* I know people have said it over and over again, but I just plain don't see it.
