Default TTG ahould make Agatha Christie's Poirot games

the tv series could translate to an adventure game and be fun to play

Indeed they should! I'm a big fan of Poirot (especially with David Suchet) and I'd love to see how Telltale would tackle the Belgian master detective.

There has been made a few adventure games of Agatha Christies novels, like Murder on the orient express and And then there were none. Good games but sadly not excellent like the novells.

It could take place on the Disorient Express!

If they did my sister would love Telltale forever. But I'm not sure if it would work well episodicly. Maybe as a full fledged game for one novel, but one entire arc seems like a bit much and would spread the formula thin. So in short: it's a great idea, but it might not turn out as well as we'd want it to be.

I think it could work, but I'd prefer it to be an original detective/mystery story so I could go into the game without any preconceptions as to how it should play out.

I think an episodic Poirot game could work but it would have to be an original story fitted for gameplay. It worked for the TV-series at least, most of the episodes were original stories only made for the show. So an original Poirot story for a new adventure game would not be impossible.

Actually, I believe they're all adapted from stories. Here is the list of episodes, each linking to the story from which it was adapted.
Many of them were short stories rather than novels.
