Bright Side of the Moon How to draw Sam & Max?

Hello, I was just wondering if there is a guide or a step by step guide on the Internet detailing how to draw Sam & Max?

I've been wanting to start drawing them and a how to would be a great starting place for me.

Thanks

That one is pretty good, and the second part too

There's also an image lying around on the internet by Steve Purcell that's a guide, but I can't find it right now, try Googling it

Max's shouldn't be more than 5 pages before the latest one in the fanart thread too.

Whoa, never seen those animation guides before, SWEET!

I'd recommend inverting the sketch references (as in, flip white to black and viceversa) because it looks a lot clearer that way

The Steve reference on Max walking seems to fit alot better than the one in models 6 and 7, it seems like something they insisted upon from Nelvana aswell as 8 and 9 where Max's mouth becomes wider than his face.

I feel like either walking style is suitable for Max. Somehow the Nelvana style makes him seem more slick but still cutely menacing. As for the mouth I think it was just to give Max more flexibility when it came to animating him. It was all for animation purposes. Then again Purcell's design is meant more for his comics of course.
I like them both
