Default ARM1054 error on the downloader

This has happened with every single downloader I've tried to use. I've always had to download the demo and then activate it, which is all good except... today when ep3 is released to the season buyers first

It's mentioned elsewhere in a thread here that it's a firewall issue.

Is there any way Telltale could be persuaded into providing an actual real downloadable version of games when they come out (accessible as an alternative link or something on the 'Past Purchases' page?), instead of the current setup?

It seems that every person who has a secure computer system would be unable to use this program.

Here's an alternate download link for people having trouble with the download manager: http://files.telltalegames.com/games...ball_Setup.exe

Not sure what you mean? (Unless you mean a direct link to the setup file, like the one I just posted. )

The only way for activation to work automatically is if the game is downloaded through a download manager, so that's the best way to get it. Obviously if you can't, we make it available another way and help you get it activated, but that's a slower process and takes manpower, so the more people we get downloading it through using a download manager, the better.

Not really... it doesn't happen to everyone with a firewall.

Default Downloads still not much chop

Well, the game is GREAT!! Sam n Max are the 2 best things to happen to computers this year...

The same cant be said about the delivery methods.. Ep1 - GREAT!! no problems what so ever..
EP2 & now 3 are a nightmare to download.. ARMS1054 errors galore.. I cant get over 8mb on my d/l

Well, I guess i wait and see if the 67mb, not-self-activating copy works for me.

One thing i can say, TTG have one of the BEST customer support teams i have found

I'm really not sure why some people have trouble with the downloads - and sometimes only certain downloads. We've been told it's due to firewall problems, but not everyone who reports this problem has a firewall.
