Thumbs up Playing BTTF on Ubuntu

If any interested, to install and run BTTF on Ubuntu is easy using wine. I suppose that it will be the same for all the telltale games..

Quite nice from telltale

Love the game

With most of the games, (unless this has been fixed) the biggest obstacle has been the launcher. I notice that BTTF has a slightly different launcher to the other games.

I tried it, didn't work for me =(
Installer worked.
Launcher seemed to work, but when I press Play it crashes.
Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0xfffffff8 in 32-bit code (0x7af8c265).
ELF 7a14f000-7b800000 Export libnvidia-glcore.so.260.19.21
Seems to be within openGL.
Maybe people will have better luck with other graphics cards?

Most other Telltale games i've had little or no issue with.

EDIT: BTW: This is on Archlinux not Ubuntu

No problems with the launcher now; as of S&M S3 it's been completely redone to remove the dependency on IE, so for Wine users it should work out of the box.

Which version of Wine? Also, have you made sure that Compiz/"Visual Effects" are turned off?
