Steam'd Up
I was counting the number of games I have on Steam, and I was shocked to find that I had about 170 (I may have miscounted one or two, hence 'about').
170. And that's not even counting the mods and shortcuts I have set up! That's just insane! And I daren't even think how many of those are thanks to the on-going Christmas sale! It's absurd... I probably won't even play half of them. So... how many games do you have? Take a minute or two to count and let's find out! If you don't want to give an exact figure, that'd cool. But I'd be curious to see how many you do have...

The humble bundle 2 and bundle-in-bundle bumped my figure a lot and put me in the 11-25 bracket. I mostly avoid Steam since euro prices are higher than they should be, but I'll still take the occasional special deal.

Apparently I have 167.
(Though its probably close to 160, as Civ 4 has Mac versions as well) Thats a damn lot, but I also have like 109 GOG as well! (but since some are collections, its more like 130) Thats not including both indie bundles, the telltale games I have here (ALL OF THEM barring CSI), or my xbox (I think I had about 80 games (maybe more...) and xbox360 collection (40+ Arcade titles, 40+ indie, about 40 retail) (I also got quite a few Megadrive and Master System games, A few PS2 and PS3 games, my small wii collection (I kinda gave up on the wii)) Yeah.. I really shouldn't be buying so many cheap games... Then again, I am one of these gamers that craves different games each day! (One day i might want to play a fighting game, next day, I might want to play a RPG) |

As of five minutes ago, 72. I just bought the LucasArts adventure pack because it's on sale for half price.
 Now I have 76, but I definitely haven't played all of them.

My count says 64. Of those, I'd say 7 of them "don't count". If you want to further consolidate, i have The Devil's Playhouse on Steam and you can subtract a further 4 from my total.

My count would have been 100+ if my credit card company wasn't so stupid. (Flagged my card as stolen for one of my own purchases even though I've bought plenty of things from steam before.) Now that I've missed some of the sales I wanted, and I don't have enough in my paypal account, it looks like my steam game count is going to stay in the 11-25 range.

21 games, including The Devil's Playhouse, and also I think including the TF2 beta (which I've never used), and three separate entries for the Source SDK. I don't use Steam a whole lot.

I have 87. This time last month I had 11 - My Half Life 2 collection I bought from PC World (before Orange Box came out), The LucasArts Adventure pack, and Civ V.
Then Humble Indie Package hit me. Then that damn sale hit me again, and bled me dry! GAH!!

I recently bought three indie packs (one at Thanksgiving, two at Christmas), the LucasArts Adventure Pack, and the ToMI Special Edition Bundle (for $3.75!), and activated my games from the Humble Bundles to bring my total to 31 games.

86! Granted, five of those are the Devil's Playhouse, so it's more like 82.
I won't deny that I've spent a lot of money on Steam, but I learned pretty quickly not to buy anything if it's not on sale for 10 bucks or less. I might make an exception for Portal 2 and Thief 4 if that hits Steam because I don't know if I could stand to wait for a sale for those.  It's just hard to resist when Steam randomly does a 75% off sale on a game you've been waffling on, or puts a bunch of neat-looking indie titles you've never heard of in a bundle for a couple of bucks. |
