So, in playing this game once through, I stole the hat from Tannen at the shoe shine, but didn't learn where Arty was. Now I just got the hooch delivered to the Brown residence, but the game won't tell me how to get a hold of Art to subpoena him.

Did I miss something with Tannen by preemptively grabbing the hat?
Or can you still find Art without him?

You're still on track for finding him. Maybe you can use the hat to figure out where he is...

Thank you. I just had that moment where you realize the solution and feel like an idiot for doing so. I am an idiot. I will reload my game and beat it now. Thank you, sir. You were the jolt my brain needed.

I was a little stuck there too, don't feel too bad. Though I have to say, I loved the "Hey, can I have a peanut?" "Sure kid, knock yourself out." "Hey Kid! What the hell is that?!" *YOINK!*
