Default Sam And Max culture shock

i just installed the demo and now when i tryin to start the game it writes me this problem "Could not initialize 3D" i saw an early quetion in this forum but it didnt help im almost sure i need to "roll back" to my early video card but i dont know the way to do it.

plz help!
ok i found it and i rolled back to my older video card but it still doesnt work maybe my video card isnt good enough i have 3dfx voodoo3

I think the games require your card to support 32 bit rendering and also require 32 bit desktop color depth. So maybe you just have to change your desktop color depth to 32 bits.

The voodoo3 didn't support 32 bit color, as I recall. Sadly, I'm pretty confident our games won't run on 3dfx hardware.

its on highst(32) bit

Sort of... I believe it internally downgraded images to 16 bit color. It's still a really old card, though (started shipping in '99 or 2000, I believe), and odds are pretty good it's just too old to run the game.
