Default Ordered BTTF and nothing?

I ordered the game and now I have no idea what to do. I have not received any emails from Tell Tail. There are no links that I can find to download the game. Is it a disk based game that is mailed to me? I have no idea what to do.

If you ordered the game from the Telltale store, you should have a link to download the first episode on this page.
However, some people have complained that despite having bought the game, they don't have a download link or a serial number for it on their "My Telltale" page.
If that's your case, you should e-mail customer service at support@telltalegames.com.
Be aware, though that it's still Christmas weekend and customer service probably has a huge backlog of Back to the Future tickets to answer.

Yes that is my case. There are no download links on my purchases page. I have emailed them. I find this to be unacceptable, I see people having the same problem starting Dec. 23 at least. They should have posted a sticky thread about this by now and have fixed the problem. When your system is so broken that people can not buy your product I guess its time to cancel Christmas vacation and work hard to fix it. I know I myself will never buy a game from them again and how many others are feeling the same right now?

I understand your frustration, but I must say that as a longtime Telltale customer (est. 2005 ), I have never had this problem (didn't have it this time either) or read about it on the forums before the release of Back to the Future.
You can always try the download links I posted here and the game might register that you purchased it once you log in.
Until Telltale's weekend is over, that's probably as much help as I can give you...

Thanks for your help but the game will not let me log in.
"Sorry, but it doesn't look like you own Back to the Future: The Game. Try logging in again under a different account or pick up the game."

Seems like the problem is with the Telltail servers. Does not show I even created an account. I clicked the lost my password link and was told an email was sent to me. I never got it, I have yet to get a email from telltail.

Seems like the problem is not with the game but with Telltail not recognizing that I signed up for their website. Maybe if I would have signed up before ordering and not during the checkout process it would have worked.
This problem probably happens to the people who buys a Telltale game using a freshly made Telltale account, for the first time. I feel sorry for your weekend but it does not take more than 5 minutes for them to fix such an issue, once they look at it in their office. Yes, it's inconvenient that way, but just show one more day of patience, young padawan.

Of course I am going to have to have patience and wait till tomorrow. I'm sure the problem is easily fixed.
Well, I can't give you the phone number of Telltale employees now, can I? It's the most helpful advice I can give, other than "stop whining" which would also be appropriate. I have a high post count because I know Telltale and their methods for a time that's longer than yours, so this must give you a reason not to talk without knowing anything.

It's a downloadable game, yes, but internet distribution is the new DVD. Hell, WHOLE Steam system works that way and they also backorder games. It's not the same as playing a browser-embedded Flash game off of internet.

You didn't give me any help. I have never whined I just wanted help with my problem and I got it from Macfly77. Then you came in and stated the obvious on my thread. Now please stop posting on this thread so the people at TellTail will take this thread seriously.

You totally did.

Thanks for such a pragmatist approach. I didn't help you but I rather tried to convince you to wait, which is an opinion, and that's what forums are for.

If you don't want me to reply, just don't reply to me.

How is stating that I will not buy from a company whining? I want to convey my disappointment with my experience so that other customers (including you) don't have the same problem. If they make it right then I will be more than happy to change my opinion but that is between me and them, not you and me. I thought this thread was closed and was just waiting for a response from TellTail.
