I found a bug near the end of the game.

I was at the part where you have to rescue Phoney from his position above the cauldron. I completed the Fone Bone part first (getting the cart). I then clicked on Phoney and mumbled a few phrases. When I clicked on Smiley, he started to have a conversation with Fone despite the character not being there.
