New humble indie pack is up, this time it just contains Frozen Synapse. However from what I hear it's a pretty damn good game. Also if you spend over the average you get the frozenbyte pack free as well.

The game is AMAZING. Easily one of the top five best games of the year.

This contains the soundtrack.

It's redeemable on Steam.

It is now on Linux.

THERE IS A DEMO.

YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE.

GET IT.

I dunno, I just feel, well a bit meh about the what I've read and seen about it. Just doesn't appeal to me really.

Still, meh. Though I have considered getting Trine so I'll probably get it just for that. But I'd need to pay more than $4.20 to get it. And I only have £2.64 currently left in my bank account (which is about $4.11) until I don't know when as I was supposed to get some money in today but it's not there. It's annoying as I have more than enough in cash in my wallet right now but I have no way of getting it into my bank account.

you sill have some time, but the average amount might rise during that. I hope you can still get it for less than the price Trine had on steam when it was on sale some days ago.

I gifted it to a friend because I was curious what you will get with your Steamkey.

You will not get the Soundtrack on Steam and youz will not get a second copy to gift to someone else (which you would get if you bought the game normally)
But you do get the soundtrack on the HIB-site. I'm downloading it right now to check which format the score has.

It's MP3. The version they sell as DLC on Steam and as a soundtrack download on their site also contain a lossless FLAC and WAV, which don't seem to be included here. The Humble Bundle version also contains two "bonus" tracks(also in MP3) that don't come with the officially sold 11-track Soundtrack. There is "Complexity", a track that weighs in at 5 minutes and 39 seconds, and "The Fix" an even heftier 6 minute and 34 second track. I don't recognize either from the main game, but I do recognize Complexity from this preview of music for the upcoming Frozen Synapse expansion. There are also a couple other small albums by the same guy, also in MP3 format. For people with Mac computers, there is a DS_Store file for the folder in Finder, but I don't know quite what it does because I don't own a Mac machine.

Mode7 tweeted that the FLAC tracks "should be there", so my guess is that it's a mix-up on their end and it will be fixed.

I got it. I'm happy. I'm currently downloading them for all platforms and will make a couple Humble Indie Bundle backup DVDs.

Keep us updated on the FLAC soundtrack. I definitely want that.

Purchased. Except I already have Frozen Synapse, so I picked it up just for the Frozenbyte bundle and to support the Humble Bundle.

Edit: And apparently I got my order in just before the site crashed.

The official update is that they'll sort out FLAC soundtracks after the bundle is done.

Quick question, does this "version" of synapse also do the "always get a 2 pack" thing as well, or is it just one, because name your price and get 2 copies of the game is a steal!

Nope, it's a one-pack. You only get one multiplayer key with it.

Nope. One code per purchase.

Good, having someone buy 2 copies of a game for a penny, and then selling one copy for a $10game is horrible. Its still going to happen by buying more copys but that does help.

I don't really see what you can be meh about when you can pay $0.01. I've barely played any of the humble bundle games so far but I've bought them all because.. like.. why the hell not?
