To those of you that are calling shenanigans- I have the very first Intel MacbookPro that they made, way back in the dinosaur era of 2006. I have since made a few minor modifications to it (bigger hard drive, more memory, etc) and updated it to Snow Leopard, but the motherboard's the same. And I ran it fine, no glitches. If you don't believe me, these are my specs:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro1,1
Processor Name: Intel Core Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 2 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP11.0055.B08
SMC Version (system): 1.2f10
Serial Number (system): W862713ZVWW
Hardware UUID: 00000000-0000-1000-8000-0016CBCA2ED4
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled
Heck, they don't even make the memory for my computer anymore (It came with 512MB) and when I upgraded, I had to custom order the thing. And it crashes if more than 2 GB are in the system- I don't know why, but it cannot handle it. And it works. So there is hope!
