Sam & Max Season 1 DVD on Win 7 64Bit
When I launch any episode I get the busy circle and then nothing. No game crashed warning. No blinking screen. Nothing.
I opened Task Manager and noticed that as soon as I launch an episode WerFault (Windows Error Reporting) appears and then they both close. I installed the game by running the setup.exe from the dvd root directory. The game seemed to install fine, but I have yet to be able to launch an episode successfully. I initially tried to run as administrator. I then tried disabling MS Security Essentials and have also tried a clean boot. (http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/...1&postcount=15). I removed the DVD, and when I launched an episode, the game complained that the DVD was missing. Reinserting the DVD brought me back to the previous state. I am downloading a web copy, but I was hoping to save bandwidth. Is there anything else I should try? |
