Hey everyone thanks for all the opinions, to clear some stuff up I was first exposed to Tell Tale with Sam and Max Season 3, which i loved, then I went back and got season 1. For all you Monkey Island fans, I actually played the first 2 awhile back and plan on getting tales soon, but I wanted to play the others first. I bought 3 on ebay and finished it this weekend and should be getting 4 fairly soon.

I have decided to go ahead and get strong bad as I am a fan of homestarrunner, though i haven't visited in a while.

By the time I finish that I should have Escape from Monkey Island and i'm sure after that Tales will be my next purchase.

Once again thanks everyone for the advice.

And even then, it took the ending of Trial and Execution to bring me to the forums.

Oh? Where did you get those numbers? Granted, I haven't been watching or keeping track of forum members or correlated that data with game releases, but I don't see the Universal properties causing a boom in users the likes of which SBCG4AP and Tales causes. It's possible that it was simply more noticeable because the community was smaller, but unless you have concrete data is it really fair to be saying things as though they are fact and backing them with made-up numbers?

I've been lurking since season one, then I got an account when season two was almost finished and stayed on through Tales, W&G, and the such.

i am probably exaggerating a little bit but almost every user i see now has join dates listed as december-march 2011

Does it really matter how many new members are brought in? How does it affect everybody posting in a topic?

It doesn't.

While for most of the games, it makes sense to play Sam & Max Season 3 after Season 2, it might actually be interesting to have played 302 before 201. Let us know how that works out.

I personaly prefer season 2 for puzzle design, and season 3 for the story and Max's role in the game.

I preferred S2 much better. S3's plot got convoluted pretty quickly and i hated the ending. I've been watching the cartoon so longthat i refuse to accept that Max has been killed, even if he comes back.
