Does anyone know yet if S&M's cutscenes will be pre-rendered or not?

I doubt it. All the non-interactive bits in Bone were in-game, so I'd imagine Sam & Max's will be too. On the other hand, the CSI had little pre-rendered movies for the murder reenactments, so it's not like it's impossible, but my guess would be no. The engine is designed to give the games themselves movie-like camera cuts and movements.

The cutscenes are in-engine, same as Bone.

Well, there's no beating around the bush with that one. Straight, simple answer. I like that. Pre-rendered cutscenes are so 90's.
