Default Looking for good places to sell items

I have a whole bunch of Xbox 1 games and DVDs that I am completely done with. However I am looking for a place to sell them online. I do know that there is ebay and amazon. But what else is there? If you ask me "why not sell your games at gamestop?" I'll tell you why I am not going to sell my games at gamestop.

Because Gamestop rips people off with its awful trading. I should know because my brother brought back a couple of his Xbox 360 games, he only got a nickel for it. Yeah, that tells ya that gamestop has "honest" trading system .

Whats the best website to sell the games and DVDs that I can make what I am selling it for without getting screwed with?

ebay and amazon are pretty much the best options.

Ever considered a trading section on a forum?

I know Racketboy forum is pretty active in regards to buying/selling/trading old games.

Never tried it either.

I guess its a faith thing.

Probably paypal based and that.

I'm pretty paranoid and a massive hoarder, so I'd never go that route.

Easily the best and most pleasant game trading/selling experience I've ever had was with Reddit's Gameswap subreddit. There's a system for showing who has done a verified and successful trade, you can go back and see all of their trades and which are successful, and overall it's really easy to see who's reputable and who's not. Usually newcomers like yourself are expected to ship first in any given trade, so you should pick someone who has a good history for your first few trades.

Another option I've liked in the past is Goozex, which lets you trade in a game for points that can then be traded toward other games. The fact that it turns your traded-in games into a middleman trading currency is nice because you don't need to trade one game for another or even find someone who wants to pay cash for it, so it's pretty convenient in that respect.

If I even do amazon, how can I get the money once its bought? I would like for it to go straight to my pocket over being used as internet money.

Gamestop is STILL ripping off people? You think they would have took care of their scams long ago. Also, go to amazon. But I dont know how you can get the money off of there.

Half.com is a better deal for the seller than Amazon is for low-cost items such as old games and DVDs. They pretty much walk you through the entire process and you don't even have to take your own pictures. Amazon and Half are both much easier than eBay is.

Anyway, you're probably not going to get much of anything for Xbox 1 games and DVDs. Check the current used prices on some of the sites. They're going to be like $2, and it's not really worthwhile for you to sell them at that price.

Edit: Because by the time you buy envelopes or boxes to ship them, pay for shipping, and use gas on the way to the post office, you're going to be netting very little if anything, and it might actually cost you money.

I've heard good things about musicmagpie.co.uk. The website buys the games off you and sells them on I think. Like a digital version of trading a game in at a game store. Of course you probably have to be british. No idea as to whether there's a US version.

Oh, and people mention craigslist a lot.

How can that get you little of anything? Besides, what is it that Leplaya is trying to sell anyways?
