Telltale Games

I bought the game Poker Night at the inventory from steam and i start the game and after the intro and brings up the rules menu and i say done and it brings up a message saying TellTales games has encountered a problem and the game closes i really want to get the TF2 items so if someone can give me advice to fix it i would be thankful because the error happens everytime at that very moment so i would appreciate the help

to clarify the problem it is this

it has something to do with appcompat.txt

and i don't know how to fix it
