Default All Monkey Island games were great but Escape from Monkey Island had the best tracks!

All the Monkey Island games were great (apart from some of EMI's confusion and difficulty) with each having their own unique style of art, characters and of course story. Of course each Monkey island game also had some interesting music tracks ... however in my opinion, Escape from Monkey Island had the best tracks. Each one with a unique beat and style which the games only had a few.
Here are a few example of some of the many interesting tracks:
Inside the Govenor's Mansion - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGh_LlpGnp8
Lucre Island Map music - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ja8IGeEuf6Y
House of Sticks - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhDrX0OGGjw
Protheses Shop - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuwuIQDoEok
Lua Bar - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnnL9xtnjS8

So discuss the music from Escape and also other tracks from the series.

Yeah, the best part of Escape was the music imo.

Music was one of the things Escape got right, even though I didn't like half the composers (Mainly Jambalaya and Monkey Island), the Michael Land tracks for Melee Island were great, Melee Town is just amazing and easily sticks in your head, as do the more atmospheric tracks like "Talking with Carla & Otis" and "Melee Docks".

Really, when I listen to Curse or Escapes music, I just wish TellTale didn't opt for WiiWare for Tales and gave Michael Land something bigger to work with, Tales had a decent soundtrack but imagien if it was done to the quality of Curse and Escape!

That's a fair point, but I was still satisfied with the music in Tales. Though I agree 100% that Curse and Escape had better music.

I personally feel that the special edition of MI2 has the best music, but I do agree that Escape's music was top notch and that Escape is one of the best when it comes to it's sound track. I like the underwater music on Lucre Island in particular.

yea, except for the opening theme which was just a copy of CMI's. every monkey island game has a different version of the theme, except Escape.

Escapes version is still different to EMI, if you listen to one after the other you'll hear... though it is only as they are played on different instruments and it also sounds like EMI's is in a slightly higher key.
